The Tigris, Unbound (The Reading)

A silent video of the reading of the Tigris Unbound.

The line of the river forms an abstract pattern, referencing themes in Islamic art and design.

The pages number the lives lost and the stitching depicts the profile of the river. When read, the line of the Tigris flows from cream to red, signifying loss but also the river as a symbol of the life blood of the region.
